You might ask: why build yet another tools directory? To give some context, let me explain why I built 1000.tools: After submitting AppLogoCreator - another product of mine - to multiple directories, I found it was getting no views/visits. I thought it made sense because if you're 1 of 100000, who is going to look through the whole list? So it crossed my mind, let's limit that to 1000 and have people pay a small fee to filter out the baddies. Because IT'S BETTER TO BE 1 OF 1000. And to give everybody a fair spot at the top, we rotate the list daily. So I built 1000.tools in a couple of days & made it public on Twitter. Since then, we had 3000 unique visitors, more than 60 paying customers and 30 great deals published on 1000.tools.
